new pellet rifle

After getting 70$ dollars in gift cards to Dicks Sporting Goods for Christmas I was ready to spend it. So that's where I went today. I finally found something I wanted to buy. It was a camoflauge pellet rifle with a scope. All day I've been target shooting with it.
It's awesome.

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Today was Christmas and got numerous things for hunting. Hunting boots arrows for my
compound bow and camoflauge pants for hunting. I got a lot of Jim Kjelgaard books and a book case. I got a video game called Cabelas Outdoor Adventures for wii. I'm
going to go over to my grandparents around 3:00 like my family does every year at Christmas.

Do you have a favorite outdoor author? If you don't I would recommend books
by Jim Kjelgaard (such as Big Red,Snow Dog,Haunt Fox). All of them are great.

Rattling Antlers

I bought a set of rattling antlers. They are awesome.

TREESTAND FALL!!!!

I was going bow hunting a while back and I was climbing up my treestand and guess what? The strap came loose and I fell.I landed on a log and it cut my leg up very bad.

HUNTING SEASON!!!

dog training

I've started to teach my dog to retreive. She's been doing really good.

sheds

This year I have found only two sheds. One was a velvet one that came off a large 3 pointer, the other was off a normal 6 pointer.

My favorite Bear Grylls Man vs. Wild

new hatchet

I got a new hatchet.I'm hoping that I'll get paid more when I use it to work.

biggest birds ever!!!!!!!

A couple months my hunting buddy and me were hunting birds and he shot the biggest woodpecker I'd ever seen. The day after that we saw a pretty big woodpecker at the feeder. Then he whispered this is your shot.I looked down the scope then BAM! he fell off of the feeder we ran out of our blind to go get him and show my dad.1 month later in March on a Wednesday I was leaving my grandparents house when I saw the sight of my most powerful gun laying in the weeds. All of the sudden I remembered having my first kill there.

When I got home I put the sight back on my gun and went back inside for about an hour. I then went outside for fun and shoot my gun @ the grass when I heard chirping in a tree and saw a huge robin sitting there. I found a spare pellet on the ground and came up close to the tree and used the side of a tree as a rest. I then I got the bird in my sights and pulled the trigger and shot it right in the head. When I got there I saw it was still alive and chirping loudly. I knew it would die soon because there was blood on the sticks and everywhere. I yelled bloody murder to get Dad outside. He finally came out outside and saw I had killed the biggest Robin I had ever seen.

New Grunt Call

Today I got a new grunt call.I'm planing on hunting with it alot in deer season.I've already tried it out it works REALLY good.

Sometimes I hunt with a dog.One time I let her smell a raccoon fur from a raccoon me and Preston caught and she led me to raccoon tracks that led to a den. Then the next day Preston's bird dog went to the den and started digging in it.

Bird Hunting

I went hunting with Preston the other day while we were in the woods we went sledding. And I shot at a bird but I hit it's leg.

Big Bucks

Me and my hunting buddy usually hunt together but sometimes he hunts in his deer stand about 100 yards away from mine. There are some pretty big bucks in our woods.

New Gun

OK I am a hunter and I mostly hunt bucks and in the spring turkeys. And today I actually bought my fourth BB gun.And I have hunting buddy his name is Preston.I've fell out of a 10 foot deerstand while hunting with my dad.It was actually kind of funny because I didn't get hurt and we both started to laugh.
